Bone is a resource in Cult of the Lamb that is used for performing rituals.
Description[]
The bones appear to resemble a femur and have red grids on them.
Uses[]
- Bones can be used in various rituals that cost bones, and this includes the Bonfire Ritual, Sacrifice of the Flesh, Ritual of Discipleship, Glory Through Toil, Holy Day Ritual, Glory of Construction, Ritual of Enlightenment, Ritual of Enrichment, Ritual Fast, Feasting Ritual, Ritual of the Harvest, Ritual of the Ocean's Bounty, Funeral, Ritual of Resurrection, Loyalty Enforcer, Tax Enforcer, Fight Pit Ritual, Wedding, Rite of Lust, Rite of Wrath, Sinner's Pride, Gluttony of Cannibals and the Ascend Follower Ritual.
Sources[]
- Bones are obtained by killing enemies and desecrating their skeletons on a Crusade. In regular combat rooms, the game will automatically break them up and collect the bones, once all enemies are defeated. In special rooms, such as follower rescue, you need to destroy the skeletons manually using your weapons. There are also Bone resource rooms.
- Sometimes skeletons will also pop out of destroyed scenery elements which will drop bones.
- A large number of bones can also be obtained by sending followers on pilgrimages with the Missionary II or Missionary III by assigning them to the item.
- Sacrificing or Ascending Followers with the Belief in Sacrifice doctrine (significantly less than the amount used to perform the ritual).
- Harvesting the bodies of dead Followers.
Trivia[]
- The quote seems to indicate that the enemies would oppose the player, as opposed to fully opposing them and the description says that they are a "useful offering", which implies that the bones are being offered to one or more god-like entities.
