The Confession Booth is a building in Cult of the Lamb that came with the Sins of the Flesh Update.
Description[]
Once per day players can listen to confessions of 1 Follower to increase their Loyalty by 75.
They will randomly make confessions with speech bubbles. One of the bubbles is the Lamb's face with a prohibition sign over it, the same symbol that appears during a dissenter's rants. However, it doesn't seem to be an indicator that they may become a dissenter and is just a random bubble.
Followers may have different reactions after giving confession. Most of the time, followers will smile and look relieved to have given confession. However, sometimes they may look frightened instead if they were nervous about what they may have said.

With Doctrinal Extremist perk, you can instead choose to accumulate sin from the follower while listening to confession.
Doctrinal Extremist is unlocked when you have defeated the third Bishop and unlocked sin. It is the one of the doctrines part of Sin Tier 3 "To invite belief, must we also invite sin?". You can choose between the Doctrinal Extremists Perk to get sin from confessional booths or the Violent Extremist perk to get a chance of gaining sin from defeating mini bosses.
Strategy[]
- The amount of loyalty gained from confession is very helpful for leveling up a follower. If you have a follower you'd like to send on a mission, taking them to confession will help get them to a better level for surviving.
- If you nurture an egg from the mating tent, they can quickly reach level 7 before they are an adult. Using the confessional booth for loyalty will make them the follower at level 10 in only a few days. You can use the Disciple Ritual to make the follower loyal to you.

- If a follower confesses at least 5 times, you get a new outfit recipe you can make at the tailor that can only be worn by one follower at a time.
