Droppers are Environmental Hazards in Cult of the Lamb and they are encountered in Darkwood.
Appearance[]
Droppers appear as sentient gold bells with large, fleshy wooden mouths that contain rows of small teeth. They also have two pairs of green eyes, with no whites. On the sides of their head are two pairs of black horns with red spirals running through them. It also has retractable spikes whenever it is active.
Combat[]
Behavior[]
Droppers are inactive when the Player enters a room with enemies. However, when approached, the Dropper will emit a scream before flying up into the air and follow the Player. It will occasionally slam down onto the arena in an attempt to crush them under its spikes, damaging the player on contact and creating a mini shockwave that also damages the player on contact.
Strategy[]
It is possible to predict where the totem will land by watching the shadow that appears beneath them. And, similar to Leshy, the Dropper has a red target mark that will indicate when it is about to drop down. It also lets out an audio cue (scream) before it attacks. The Dropper cannot be destroyed, as it is invulnerable to all Weapons and Curses. However, it is not immune to the Time-Freeze Relic. Once all other enemies in the room have been taken out, the totem will fly into the air and despawn.
