The God Tear is an item added to the game by the Relics of the Old Faith update. God Tears are given to ??? in exchange for one of the following four possible rewards:
The reward is chosen via a spin wheel mechanic.
After unlocking all the Doctrines, Fleeces, and Follower Forms available, these will instead be replaced with the chance of earning one of the following necklaces:
- Golden Skull Necklace
- Demonic Necklace
- Loyalty Necklace
- Missionary Necklace
- Light Necklace (will disappear after used for its intended purpose)
- Dark Necklace (will disappear after used for its intended purpose)
God Tears are acquired by defeating mini-bosses and bosses the first time after killing The One Who Waits. They can also be acquired via Divine Inspiration once all Buildings have been unlocked or you can collect God Tear Fragments from doing Purgatory Challenge Runs. When enough God Tear Fragments have been collected, you will receive a complete God Tear.
