The Healing Bay is a building in Cult of the Lamb that can only be built once. It can be upgraded into Healing Bay II, which reduces the cost of healing followers.
Description[]
Healing Bays are able to immediately heal sick or otherwise injured followers. They do not have a cooldown between each use. They are the only way to remove the Cursed and Catatonic traits.

Strategy[]
Healing Bays are virtually essential. While sick or injured followers can be treated by ordering them to bed rest, this will put them out of commission for some time, while curing them in the Healing Bay is instant. A Delicious Fish Feast can also cure them, but that has a low success rate while the Healing Bay is guaranteed.
They become particularly important if more than one follower falls ill, as the problems that causes, such as damaging hygiene and faith levels, can often accumulate faster than you can find and order each follower to bed.
Make sure to be well-stocked if you plan to use the Brainwashing Ritual, as roughly half of your followers will fall ill after the effects wear off. Have at least enough Camellias to dose 3/4 of your follower count on hand before performing the ritual; even more if you have the Belief In Prohibition doctrine, as the epidemic will occur twice in that case.
Healing Bays are the only way to cure followers afflicted with Catatonic or Cursed traits.
Glitches[]
- If a follower is approached by a Loyalty Enforcer or Tax Enforcer during the animation to enter the Healing Bay, the interaction will supersede the animation, so it cannot finish. Because of this, the cutscene state will not end, and the game will softlock. The Pause menu can still be used, however, and exiting to the main menu will end the lock.
