An enigmatic character who made their first appearance after the Relics of the Old Faith update as a post-game character and vendor. ??? is also dubbed the "Mystic Seller" by the ingame files.
Description[]
The mystic seller is a mysterious entity, and no actual species can be drawn to them. They wear a cloak with a hood covered in various patterns, the space under their robe revealing a galaxy-resembling space underneath. Their "head" is seemingly detached from their hood, showing two eyes with white sclera and slitted black pupils, with circles decorating some of the space, and an odd black substance leaks from their "head," which resembles Ichor.
They task the lamb with returning to the Lands of the Old Faith to free the Bishops from limbo, and accepts God Tears in exchange for various resources in the postgame.
Interactions[]
Their first appearance is a random encounter wherein they make observations about your actions and the effects they have had. They remark that they have not met someone like you in a long time and that if you continue on your path you will meet them again.
After the Lamb defeats The One Who Waits, ??? will appear in front of the gate that would otherwise lead to the final dungeon. They inform the Lamb that the Bishops' spirits haven't been properly laid to rest after their defeats. ??? also berates the Lamb for thinking that they're the strongest in the Lands despite only recently ascending to Godhood and then tasks the Lamb with traversing the Lands of the Old Faith again to rematch the Bishops and allow their spirits to leave limbo.
Defeating each of the Bishops a second time will allow the player to obtain them as Followers in their exclusive Follower Forms. After defeating all four Bishops a second time and speaking to ??? the player will be gifted:
- The God of Death Fleece
- The One Who Waits Trophy (If the player previously recruited The One Who Waits)
- Narinder as a Follower with an exclusive Follower Form (If the player previously killed The One Who Waits)
Additionally, after the Lamb retrieves their first God Tear, ??? will allow the player to give them a name in exchange for a full partnership. These God Tears are given to ??? in exchange for a random reward from a spin wheel, which has a chance of rewarding:

- A Relic or a Tarot Card (Disappears once all of the Relic/Tarot Card from them have been obtained.)
Once the Follower Form, Forgotten Commandment Stone and Holy Talisman options disappear, they will be replaced with all the different necklaces.
Saving and reloading when giving ??? a God Tear will allow the player to infinitely re-roll for a specific item.

"Tell me, Godly one, do you crave more? Of course you do. For what god is satisfied with what merely is? As you have seen with the Bishops, there is a state that exists betwixt the layers of this world. Purgatory, some may call it. Enter once daily, whilst mortal time stagnates. The blasphemous souls of Purgatory may be expiated for as long as you wish...or survive. Time will stand still in this world, your followers will need nothing of you while you venture there. And should more God Tears find their way to you...well. [Name you gave them] awaits."

As such, I offer you a boon; a cementing of our new undertaking."

Trivia[]
- They may be related to the Bishops, or have a past with them, as they share information about them.
- In the French and Spanish versions, they are referred to as male, likely due to French and Spanish non-gendered pronouns (such as iels and elle) not being wildly accepted as a cultural norm, this does not have any bearing on their canon presentation however.
- The Unknown Symbols they speak have not been translated yet.
- Their realm's name and description are unknown.
- One of the stars visible under their cloak is red. The reason for this is unknown
