Cult of the Lamb Wiki

The Propaganda Speakers are a building in Cult of the Lamb. When in range, Propaganda Speakers make followers in a 7x7 surrounding area pray and work +20% faster. It requires 1 Gold Bars Gold Bars every 3 days to fuel.

Description[]

The Propaganda Speakers resemble a primitive version of regular speakers where the base is made of stone and a stick with two speakers made out of branches. In the center of the Propaganda Speakers is a furnace where the Gold Bars can be deposited and when they are deposited, the calls of the Lamb can be heard.

Strategy[]

If you combine the Propaganda Speakers with Glory Through Toil or even the Ritual of Enlightenment, it can boost your Cult's efficiency for those two days by a hefty amount. You could also take this a step further by performing the Brainwashing Ritual so you don't need to worry about the Faith of your Cult, allowing you to do other activities like fishing, playing Knucklebones or even going on Crusades to get even more gold and resources. Perhaps in order to make followers work even faster, maybe have at least one Propaganda Speaker near each house. You can either have four speakers around the center of the place and/or have the method of one speaker per house. But it takes many Gold Bars Gold Bars to fuel all of them so be careful.

Trivia[]

  • They appear to run on Gold Bars, which seems to indicate that they are thermoelectric in some capacity.
  • It is similar in function to the real life Beishan Broadcasting Wall, which also consisted of loudspeakers and broadcasted propaganda.
