Description[]
Rituals. Sacrifices a follower in exchange for rewards. -10 Faith, or +20 Faith with "Belief in Sacrifice" trait.
Sacrificing a follower grants three resources: Sermon points,
Bone, and
Follower Meat. A level 1 follower grants 40% of the sermon bar, with each level granting an additional 20%, and the amount is capped at 100%.
Spoiler Alert! Upon the defeat of The One Who Waits, sacrificing the follower with either the Light or Dark Necklace will allow you to obtain Baal and Aym respectively. However, the follower wearing said necklace cannot be resurrected by this way.

Strategy[]
On the Afterlife doctrines, two traits benefit sacrifice: the Belief in Sacrifice Trait and the Good Die Young Trait. By applying both doctrines and regularly performing sermons and blessings in order to accumulate high loyalty, one can garner elders with high loyalty that can then be sacrificed for considerable gains while also granting +30 faith, negating any faith penalties of followers with the Against Sacrifice Trait.
Sacrificing followers will generally decrease faith unless you have the have the Belief in Sacrifice Trait. This trait is one of the first doctrines for Afterlife. This trait makes it so all Cult members gain the Belief in Sacrifice Trait. +20 Faith when another Cult member is sacrificed.
