Silk Cradle is a location and the fourth biome in Cult of the Lamb.
Description[]
Silk Cradle is usually accessed after all the other biomes have been completed, although it can be accessed earlier if the player has amassed enough followers, allowing it's door to be opened. It is ruled over by the eldest of the Bishops - Shamura. It is a webbed den housing spiders and other arthropods. It is littered with large skeletons and bones, presumably of creatures killed off by the spiders, showing the brutality of the inhabitants. Silk Cradle has a generally blue and purple color scheme, and the lighting of the area discolors entities. Shamura is notably unaffected by this.
12 Followers are required to open the gate in new game.
Silk Cradle II forms after defeating The One Who Waits and meeting ??? for the first time. Along with the previously required Follower count, a level 10 Follower must be sacrificed to the door in order to open it.
