Wedding is a ritual in Cult of the Lamb.
Description[]
The wedding is part of the Law & Order 2 Doctrines. You can unlock this ritual with a forgotten commandment stone. You have choose between the fight pit ritual or the wedding ritual.
When you marry a follower for the first time you get the Lovers II Tarot card. This ritual allows you to permanently marry one of your followers, gaining +30 Faith as a result. After the ritual, the married follower will have an extra action called "Kiss" that, when performed by the player, increases their Loyalty by +10 per day. The follower can get the "Happily Married Trait" if you kiss them enough.
The Lamb can marry as many followers as they like, though existing married followers will get jealous after the ritual and lower Faith by -5 each.
Married followers will have a ring icon near their name.
Strategy[]
(Note that if you already have six or more spouses, then the faith loss from the jealousy will outweigh the faith gained by the ritual.)
- There is no way to unmarry a follower so choose wisely.
- If there are multiple marriage partners they may fight each other constantly out of jealously if they don't have the polyamorous trait.
- Spouses who have passed away or have the Polyamorous trait cannot become jealous and will not affect faith loss.
- Resurrecting a deceased spouse after the marriage ritual will prevent them from becoming jealous.
- Marrying while the Brainwashing Ritual is active will also negate the jealousy penalty.
- Resurrected spouses do not need to be married again.
- It is not recommended to marry followers if you want to use the mating tent. The followers you are married to become enemies and have a much lower chance of mating together.

Trivia[]
- There are parallels between the having to choose between Law and Order 2 Doctrines (fight pit ritual and the wedding ritual) and the Sin 2 Doctrines (Rite of Wrath and the Rite of Lust). The wedding ritual is similar to the Rite of Lust ritual because both involve unions, you marry the followers rather than followers mating with each other. You gain loyalty instead of Sin.
- If you do a wedding 3 times you get 2 new outfits recipes you can craft in the tailor tent that can only be worn by one follower at a time.
